DARCY D uses a two-part finish on furniture, a sand and seal and a satin top coat. Finished off with a natural wax.

WARRANTY

All furniture handmade by DARCY D holds a 1-year structural warranty. We pride ourselves in using the highest quality furniture grade timbers, with advanced handmade craftsmanship. Our furniture should last more than one lifetime when used as intended. Natural environmental factors can affect the condition of your furniture such as cupping, splitting, shrinkage, expansion and discolouration and these, unfortunately, do not come under our warranty. CARE

DARCY D carefully builds furniture to last, with proper care it will last more than one lifetime. Each product at DARCY D has specialised care instructions as seen with the product description. As a general summary, we recommend our furniture and objects only ever be used for their intended purpose. When moving furniture, please do so without dragging or pushing. Please do not stand on the furniture. To avoid natural environmental damage occurring, we recommend keeping furniture and objects out of direct sunlight. Whilst all our furniture finishes are water resistant, we recommend avoiding putting anything hot or wet directly on your furniture. Please avoid cleaning your furniture with any sort of product, as this may strip the finish. A dry cloth can be used for cleaning. For general upkeep of your furniture and objects, we recommend a natural beeswax.
